Day 29: Procrastination station

Day 29: Something you hope to change about yourself. And why.

I procrastinate EVERYTHING. Seriously, it's awful. I always go into projects with the best of intentions....then something happens and BOOM it's the night/hour before and I'm just beginning! :/ no bueno. Hopefully someday, I will finally kick this horrid habit.

Day 21: with a twist ;D

Day 21: (scenario) Your best friend is in a car accident and you two got into a fight an hour before. What do you do?

This is DEPRESSING! What a horrible thought. :/ Well since it's a scenario, I'm gonna make this end on a good note!

The accident was just a nasty fender bender that did damage her beautiful G6 but no one was injured.

She calls me because she needs to vent and a silly fight wouldn't stop her. I come get her, where we make up and quickly forget about the quarrel.

Then we go get ice cream/cheesecake/and or Chinese food and wait for Silas to call to tell him the news. When he finds out he comes home from Iraq immediately to kick the other drivers behind for hurting the beautiful G6.

He ends up winning the fight (of course) but getting shot in the foot which means he can't return to Iraq. (bummer right?) Kristi and Silas live happily ever after TOGETHER and I get to annoy them both FOREVER.

THE END! TA-DA.

(disclaimer: Due to insomnia I drew this around 1 am excuse the lame-ness.)

Day 20: Say no. simple as that.

Day 20: Your views on drugs and alcohol.

Really?
Drugs and Alcohol,
You make people do stupid things.
And you are the reason thousands of people die/get injured a year.
It's totally not worth it.

next blog challenge. YOU vote! :)

Dear 10 followers. Thank you for following me. :) I'm almost done with my first 30 day challenge: 30 days of Truths (took me more than a month but we made it). Now I'm looking ahead to what's next!?!?!? AND I WANT YOUR OPINION.

Here's a few ideas:

1. 30 days of photos
2. Weekly photo story-book of my week.
3. 30 days of hidden messages in public (I'll leave a note somewhere in public and post a pic of it).
4. 30 days of doing without something I use on a regular basis.
5. 30 days of fill in the blank quizzes from the internet.

Got your own ideas of things you want me to do?!?!? Let me know!
Otherwise, VOTE and I'll make it happen.

Day 18: gay marriage.

Day 18: What are your views on gay marriage?

(disclaimer: This is only MY opinion and an explaination of WHY I believe what I believe.)

My opinion has three parts:

A. I believe homosexuality is wrong.

I base my views on life from the Bible, and it seems to be pretty clear to me that this isn't a 'gray' area.

here's why:

Old Testament
"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them"
Lev. 20:13

New Testament:
"In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."
Romans 1:27

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
1 Cor. 6:9-10

This is why in my opinion the Bible is clear about how God feels about homosexuality.

B. I am not THE judge.

...GOD IS.

I hate it when people (especially Christians) show hate to gay people.

EXCUSE ME, BUT IT IS NOT YOUR RIGHT TO PUNISH THEM!!!

We are supposed to show Love, even to those in sin.

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love."
1 John 4:7-8

God is the only perfect one, WE HAVE ALL SINNED.

Romans 3:23 says "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"

So, NO POINTING FINGERS! ...Your hands are not clean!

There. The end. I'm not at all for it but I will not hate or judge you because of it because all in all I couldn't bear you to judge me for every one of my sins either.

Now the hard part:
 C. My thoughts on Gay Marriage.

I think that homosexuality is a sin. We've already covered that, it's something that I feel strongly about. I don't in any way support gay marriage, I don't encourage gay marriage BUT (yes there is unfortunately a but) as a citizen of the United States we set up our country to run in a way that would be governed by the people, promoting general "freedoms". I firmly believe that it is a CHOICE to act upon sin. I sin regardless of how much I hate to admit it: I CHOOSE to sin. WE ALL DO! I have chosen to lie before, I have chosen to cheat before, etc. DESPITE my sincerest efforts I STILL FALL SHORT. WE ALL DO! BUT God knows that. He knows how incredibly hard it is NOT to fall short. That's why He sent His Mighty, Powerful, and Perfect Son to save me (and you).
With that being said, as an American I think we can't say we stand for all those "freedoms" without giving other people to right to choose for themselves. I was given the right to CHOOSE my religion, my beliefs, etc. So I feel like others should be allowed to CHOOSE which sins they partake in. We can't outlaw one sin and say the Bible supports it, if we don't outlaw the rest. Lying, Drinking, etc. Granted you will never find me voting to legalize gay marriage because of how I feel but I think that if enough people CHOOSE to then we can't judge them for that. This is why for me the gay marriage issue is a "gray area". As a Christian, I firmly believe one thing but as an American I think it's hypocritical to tell some people it's wrong to express themselves in that way.

Day 15. heaven in a cup.

Day 15: Something or someone you couldn’t live without, because you’ve tried living without it.

Hm. This is a tough one....All the people that are in my life right now, I want in my life. All the people that are not, are not for a reason.

So that just leaves the somethings. I am completely in love with sweet tea. It's like heaven in a cup.

Buuuuuuut it's kind of bad for you, tons of calories from all the sugar. :/ So, I have tried cutting back, but I do relapse. :) I COULD live without it if I wanted, but I do give in a lot more than I should. (I have been known to be able to drink a gallon or more in a day....when I drink, I DRINK!) but like I said I cut back (DON'T JUDGE. lol)

This week's storybook (with pictures)

I have had an AMAZING week. The best week I've had in a LONG time.
You see this is how it happened!

Early in the week:

Kristi dyed her hair PINK for her birthday present to herself! Isn't it BEAUTIFUL?

Hannah got a TATTOO! (means "ready for anything" in Latin)

I ran a mile in under 9 minutes (which is 3 minutes faster than I ran it in December) and a little over two miles in 21 minutes! WHOOP WHOOP. Did four miles total and felt AMAZING after!

And I ALMOST ran out of gas but DIDN'T! :) It was on E for a whole day. LUCKY me!!!!

Then came Wednesday:
We celebrated Kristi's birthday with a little girls night! Starting with Buffalo Wild Wings...
karaoke...

PINK presents (CD and Victoria Secret perfume)...

cheesecake...

and dying my hair...

RED! (can now mark that off my bucket list) WHOOP WHOOP!

Thursday:
Her birthday bash continued at 5 am with some sneaky car decorating and surprise breakfast making!
I was in a great mood all day even with only 2 hours of sleep. I even dedicated my facebook status to the amazingness
"is feeling wonderful. amazing night last night, wonderful breakfast this morning, kicked butt on my test despite NOT studying, beyonce tunes coming loudly from my car, this REDHEAD shall be in class with tea & a smile all day."

Friday:
I spent Friday with my little "sunshine" Cayley Marie. She is the sweetest funniest smartest two year old I know. She's a princess and I'm her best friend. Here's photos from our adventures that day:
A pic of my new beautiful red hair and my messy room
We visited Bass Pro to check out the animals...

We made a new friend named Ivy...

They looked at fish...

and ducks...

the babysitters chit chatted...

(aren't they cute)
We came home, watched Beauty and The Beast while eating lunch. During which, Cayley informed me that Belle should not marry Gaston because and I quote "He's ugly and mean...DUH!". Then nap time to follow and after nap. We decided to:
Color...

and play pretend with markers...

AND MAKE PRINCESS BEST FRIEND CROWNS!

made silly faces...

and rocked some sparkly staches'
This is why I love her. :)

Then catastrophe struck. My dad got hurt at work and sent to the emergency room. He ended up leaving with three broken bones in his hand, absolutely no thumbnail, and an appointment with a hand surgeon next week. BUT with my dad dopey on pain pills, it made family dinner so fun and interesting. Quotes from the evening included:

Dad: "I'm going to put out hay."
Mom replied: "No you can't drive a vehicle remember? You're on medication."
Dad replied: "A TRACTOR is NOT a vehicle LORI."

Grandma: "Darn. Guess I won't be heading out to the club tonight, looks like I'm stuck here babysitting the goof (aka my drugged up Dad)"

I had a wonderful time.

 Saturday:
I spent the evening relaxing at home then had a little RKG fun with my bestie. ;)
Camera phone pic in some bad lighting but you get the idea...

Sunday:
Went to church, then met my friend Ryan at one of our favorite hang outs: Kat's bridge. We spent a couple hours just catching up and enjoying the beautiful day.

Isn't that a beautiful photo. RIP Kitty. Miss you :)

And that about wraps it up for this amazing week in the life of Scarlett :)
